*Hatching eggs are individually wrapped in foam cylinders, packed very safely in peanuts, marked with several stickers including; fragile on 5 sides, glass, liquid, and hold for pickup if shipped usps priority mail insured. We also ship directly with FedEx 2-day and UPS 2-day shipping to some areas.

*Extra eggs are almost always sent along with your order but are not guaranteed.

*Our eggs are very fertile, we hatch constantly. We keep one rooster per four hens.

**We are not responsible for hatch rates as there are so many variables in different incubators, individual hatching techniques, and so many factors out of our control after they leave our hands, including broody hens and also during shipping. Hatch rates and fertility are two different things. Not all fertile eggs will hatch. Shipped eggs are a gamble as the process of shipment can damage them. Hatch rates with shipped eggs are less than with eggs not shipped. WE DO NOT REPLACE SHIPPED HATCHING EGGS** 

We want all of our customers to have a great hatch. If you have any questions before or during hatch feel free to ask us.

*Shipped chicks are insured with the postal service. If you have significant loss please utilize the insurance provided with your shipment. Sweet Chicken Homestead reserves the right to replace chicks at our discretion, issue a store credit,  or refer your loss to the insurance coverage. Chicks are not refundable under any circumstances, nor can be canceled if already under incubation.  20% fee applies to any credits or refunds issued for any reason*

*Our chicks are straight run. If requesting pullets we will try to choose as many females as possible, although there is no guarantee. 

*Vaccination is available upon request.
